Envato did not show us a rupee price. Its pricing page, checked October 2026 from outside India, quoted Core at €29 a month on monthly billing or €14.50 a month billed annually, with Plus and Ultimate above it, all in euros and all before local tax. The same October 2026 check found a student rate for people with a college email and a team rate for two to five people. Every plan carries the same licence: one download covers one project, for as long as that project lives. If the full price is more than your design work justifies, we sell shared access at ₹199/month with UPI, or inside our Advanced Plan from ₹1,499/month. We are the seller of that cheaper route, so check Envato's own page before you decide.
Indian video editors, YouTube channel managers and WordPress freelancers tend to reach for Envato Elements when a client wants "something that looks premium" on a small budget. One subscription covers stock footage, After Effects and Premiere Pro templates, fonts, music, graphics and website themes, with unlimited downloads. Working out what it costs you takes a little more than reading one number. The currency changes with where you are, the tiers now differ by AI credits, and every download is tied to a project licence that outlives the subscription. Below are Envato's own pages as they read on 14 October 2026, the limits of that reading, and what the cheaper routes give you in practice.
The page we fetched from elements.envato.com/pricing on 14 October 2026 ended every plan card with the same small print: "Price in EUR, excludes local tax." Our fetcher sits outside India, and the currency appears to follow where Envato thinks you are. So treat the euro figures below as Envato's price list for one region, useful for comparing plans with each other, and not as the amount an Indian card will be charged.
Three things to check when you open the page yourself from India:
The individual plans come in three tiers, and what separates them is almost entirely AI. Stock downloads are unlimited on all three, subject to Envato's fair use policy, and each carries the same lifetime commercial licence. What changes is how many AI credits you get each month for image, graphic, voice and sound generation, and how many generations can run at once.
| Plan | Billed annually, per month | Billed monthly | AI credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Envato Core | €14.50 | €29 | 20 |
| Envato Plus | €33 | €49 | 200, three parallel generations |
| Envato Ultimate | €145 | €225 | 500, 1,000 or 2,000, ten parallel generations |
| Envato Core for a team | €25.50 | €51 | Core allowance |
| Envato student (Core features) | not listed | €10 | 20 |
| Envato Enterprise | Quoted by Envato sales | By contract | |
| Envato Elements via BundledSEO | no annual prepayment | ₹199 | Stock catalogue on a shared login |
For most Indian buyers the choice is Core. If your work is cutting reels, building WordPress sites or dropping lower-thirds into wedding films, the stock catalogue is what you pay for, and Core's 20 credits a month (Envato's figure, checked October 2026) are enough to try the AI tools without building a workflow on them. Plus starts to make sense only if AI image or voice generation is a daily part of your output. Ultimate, at €225 on monthly billing according to the same October 2026 check, is priced for studios generating at volume, and few solo freelancers here will get their money back from it.
The annual discount on Core is large. On the figures Envato showed us in October 2026, a year of Core billed annually comes to €174, against €29 for a single month on monthly billing. Divide one by the other and the break-even is 6 months: if you will actively use Envato for 6 months or more in the next year, annual billing costs no more in total, and every month past that is a saving. On Plus the same sum gives €396 a year against €49 a month, a break-even of 9 months (Envato pricing page, checked October 2026).
Be realistic about how many months you will use it. A lot of Envato work in India is seasonal. Wedding videographers work flat out from November to February. Diwali and end-of-season sale campaigns bunch e-commerce creative work into a few weeks. A final-year design student needs a portfolio push before placements and very little after. If your year looks like that, monthly billing switched on for the busy stretch can beat annual even though each month costs more.
Two rules from Envato's FAQ make this decision stick. Cancelled subscriptions are not refunded, so an annual payment is spent the day it clears. And you can move from monthly to annual at any time, with the unused days of your current month credited, while a move back down only happens at the end of the billing period. The low-risk order is therefore monthly first, annual once you know your usage.
Envato's subscription is personal. Its FAQ, checked October 2026, says a subscription "is for an individual (or a specific number of people with our Team or Enterprise accounts)". A three-person edit suite in Noida sharing one Core login is outside those terms, and Envato offers teams of two to five members instead. The team page showed Core at €25.50 a month billed annually or €51 on monthly billing when we checked in October 2026, without saying whether that figure was per member or for the whole team; its sign-up button pointed to a two-member team. The same page claimed savings of up to 35% against individual Core when we read it in October 2026, which suggests the discount grows with the seat count.
A few practical points for small agencies. Members can be added at any time, but the seat count can only come down at the end of the subscription period, so start with the people who download every week and add the occasional user later. Plus and Ultimate are available for teams too, but the team page listed no price for them in October 2026. For organisations above 50 employees, the October 2026 pricing page steers buyers to Enterprise, which adds custom licensing, indemnification and invoicing, the last of which matters to Indian companies that need a proper invoice for their books.
For anyone still in college, this is the cheapest official way in. Envato's student page showed €10 a month for the Core feature set, labelled "Student only price", when we checked it in October 2026. Eligibility as the page described it: aged 18 or over, a full-time student or a member of faculty or staff at an accredited educational institution, verified through a valid educational email address.
That covers far more Indian readers than school-only education schemes do. A B.Des student at an NID campus, a mass communication student cutting a documentary, or a lecturer at an engineering college who builds course videos should all try it before paying the full rate. The page did not list excluded countries, so the realistic obstacle is the email: some Indian colleges issue no institutional addresses, and some issue them on domains a verification check may not accept. If yours does not pass, a short monthly subscription for the project weeks is the next cheapest official option. The student page also mentions access to Envato's Tuts+ courses, a small bonus for anyone learning After Effects from scratch.
For a freelancer with clients, the licence decides what the subscription is worth as much as the price does. Envato's pricing FAQ, read on 14 October 2026, makes four points:
Two exclusions catch people out. An Elements subscription cannot be used to download or buy anything from Envato Market (ThemeForest, VideoHive and the rest), which is a separate shop with single-item purchases. And the subscription comes with no direct support from item authors, so a broken WordPress theme is your problem to fix. If you only need one theme for one client site, a single ThemeForest purchase can work out cheaper than any subscription; compare the two on the day.
Envato's pricing page did not list accepted payment methods when we read it in October 2026, so we will not claim UPI works there. Plan on an Indian credit or debit card enabled for international online transactions, since a card with that switch off is a common reason a foreign subscription fails at checkout. Turn it on in your bank's app before blaming Envato.
Because the page states prices before local tax, expect a tax line on the final screen. For an Indian consumer buying a foreign online service that is normally GST, and the total on the payment screen is the real price. If the checkout offers to charge you in rupees when the plan is priced in another currency, compare that figure with your card's own conversion first; the checkout's rate often carries an extra margin.
Renewals on an Indian card fall under RBI's e-mandate rules, so your bank should notify you before each recurring debit. Since Envato does not refund cancelled subscriptions, that notice is your last chance to stop a renewal you no longer need without losing the money.
We sell Envato Elements access on a shared account. You open it from the BundledSEO dashboard and download from the same stock catalogue, billed monthly in rupees with UPI at checkout. It is a different product from a subscription in your own name, and the differences matter more for Envato than for most tools because of the licence:
| Our option | Monthly price | What comes with Envato Elements |
|---|---|---|
| Envato Elements on its own | ₹199 | Envato Elements only |
| Advanced Plan | ₹1,499 | 25 tools, mostly SEO and writing, with Canva and Freepik on the design side |
| Super Ecom | ₹1,999 | 31 tools for store owners: product research, ad spying and creatives |
| Ultimate Plan | ₹2,499 | All 91 tools in our catalogue |
Envato Elements is not in our Essential Plan or our Boost Plan. If all you want is stock assets, the standalone option is the one to compare with Envato's monthly Core. The plans make sense when Envato is one bill among several: a freelancer who already pays for SEO and writing tools, or a Shopify seller who needs ad research and product creatives in the same month. For lighter needs, our Freepik access at ₹199/month covers photos and vector graphics, and Canva at ₹149/month suits drag-and-drop social posts better than editing source files in After Effects. The Envato Elements tool page lists what the shared session includes.
Whichever you pick, take the number from the source on the day you pay. Envato's comes from its own pricing page in the currency it shows you. Ours syncs from the live catalogue and follows the market switch above.

Envato's pricing page answered our check in October 2026 in euros, not rupees: Core at €29 a month on monthly billing or €14.50 a month on annual billing, before local tax. Our fetch came from outside India, so open elements.envato.com/pricing from an Indian connection and read the figure and currency it gives you before comparing anything.
Yes. Envato's student page, checked October 2026, offers the Core features at €10 a month to full-time students, faculty and staff aged 18 or over at an accredited institution, verified with an educational email address. A college email from an Indian university should be the thing to try first; Envato did not list excluded countries.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the next payment date, but the pricing FAQ says plainly that cancelled subscriptions are not refunded (checked October 2026). Annual billing therefore locks in the whole year once paid. Downgrades also wait until the end of the current billing period.
Yes, for work already done. Envato's FAQ says existing licensed uses stay covered after you unsubscribe, but you cannot use items in any new project. A logo animation you put in a client's 2026 video stays licensed; reusing it in a different client's video next year is a new project and needs an active subscription.
Envato Elements is sold on its own at ₹199/month and comes inside Advanced Plan (₹1,499/month), Super Ecom (₹1,999/month), Ultimate Plan (₹2,499/month). It is not in the Essential Plan or the Boost Plan, which are SEO and writing bundles. Everything is billed monthly and India checkout takes UPI.
No. You download from the same catalogue through a login shared with other customers, so licences are registered to that account rather than to you, there are no team seats of your own, and Envato's terms describe a subscription as being for one individual. For a client who needs licence paperwork in your name, buy direct from Envato.
