GroupSEOTools (groupseotools.net, a Bangladesh-based seller that also prices in rupees) is a reasonable pick for one kind of buyer: someone who wants a big, cheap bundle of SEO, writing and design tools and values a short refund window. Its packages run from $6 to $20 a month (its pricing page, checked October 2026) and claim more tools per package than most of our plans. For single tools in rupees the picture flips: we came out lower on 13 of the 14 tools we priced side by side, Semrush included (₹199 here against ₹355 there). If you need Ahrefs, it is in our Advanced plan at ₹1,499 a month, and we could not find an Ahrefs price anywhere on their price lists. Disclosure: we sell to the same Indian freelancers and agencies, so read this as a competitor's comparison that tries to stay fair.
The seller behind the name "groupseotools" is groupseotools.net. The footer there describes a group buy and digital marketing agency in Bangladesh, and the About page says the agency works out of the UK and Bangladesh. Contact runs through WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger and two phone numbers, one Bangladeshi and one British. The .org domain with the same name showed nothing but an under-construction notice when we opened it on 8 October 2026.
The homepage pitch, as it read on 8 October 2026, is size: "100+ premium" tools across SEO, AI writing and design, sold either one at a time or in themed packages. Prices are printed in four currencies on every single-tool card (dollars, taka, Indian rupees and Pakistani rupees), so an Indian visitor does see a rupee figure for each tool. The packages page is the exception, which we come back to below.
A few things on the site do not line up with each other. On 8 October 2026 the homepage said it is trusted by 10,000+ marketers, while the pricing page said 2,000+ satisfied members. The footer links to a tools-uptime page that returned a "page not found" error when we followed it. Neither of these tells you whether the service works. They are just worth knowing before you treat any single headline number on the site as settled.
This is where most Indian buyers start, because they usually want one tool for one client. The left price column is copied from groupseotools.net's single-tool pricing page as it read on 8 October 2026. The right column is our current catalogue price for the same tool, read from the same data our checkout uses.
| Tool | GroupSEOTools, per month (their price list, checked Oct 2026) | BundledSEO single tool, per month | Lower |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semrush | ₹355 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Moz Pro | ₹250 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Majestic | ₹285 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Ubersuggest | ₹285 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Serpstat | ₹285 | ₹299 | GroupSEOTools lower |
| SpyFu | ₹355 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| KWFinder (Mangools) | ₹425 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Helium 10 | ₹500 | ₹499 | BundledSEO lower |
| Canva Pro | ₹215 | ₹149 | BundledSEO lower |
| ChatGPT Plus | ₹403 | ₹299 | BundledSEO lower |
| QuillBot | ₹285 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Grammarly | ₹285 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Envato Elements | ₹355 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
| Freepik | ₹712 | ₹199 | BundledSEO lower |
On this list our rupee price is the lower one for 13 of 14 tools. Theirs is lower on Serpstat, highlighted in the table. The gaps are not huge on most rows. A couple of hundred rupees a month matters to a student or a new freelancer, though, and it adds up over a year when you hold three or four tools.
One caution about the comparison itself. Matching names does not prove matching access. A "Semrush" row on either site means a shared seat with whatever limits the seller sets, and two sellers can give you very different daily report caps under the same tool name. Prices are easy to line up in a table. Limits are not, and they often only show up after you have paid.
Bundles are their strongest offer. Their package page, checked on 8 October 2026, quotes dollar prices only and offers a yearly toggle advertised at 25% off. Here is each package next to the closest plan we sell:
| Their package (groupseotools.net, checked Oct 2026) | Their price / mo | Tools they claim | Nearest BundledSEO plan | Our price / mo | Our tools |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SEO Starter | $6 | 25+ | Essential | ₹399 (or $10) | 5 |
| SEO Premium | $8 | 35+ | Boost | ₹499 (or $15) | 11 |
| Content Writers | $10 | 40+ | Advanced | ₹1,499 (or $30) | 25 |
| Creative Pro Plus | $12 | 40+ | Super Ecom | ₹1,999 (or $35) | 31 |
| All In One combo | $20 | 70+ | Ultimate | ₹2,499 (or $49) | 91 |
How you read this depends on the currency you pay in. Dollar against dollar, their package is the cheaper one on 5 of 5 rows. An Indian buyer pays our rupee price, though, which we set well below our own dollar price, and converted at a mid-market rate our plan comes out cheaper on 2 of the 5 rows (Essential, Boost). On the rest, their package costs less.
Tool count is where they clearly lead: 4 of their 5 packages claim more tools than the plan beside them. The exception is our Ultimate lists 91 tools against their 70+. Our Essential at ₹399 holds 5 tools. Their SEO Starter at $6 (checked October 2026) names Semrush, Ubersuggest, ChatGPT Plus, Canva Pro and Grammarly before adding "15 more". For a writer or a YouTuber who wants breadth, that is a lot of catalogue for very little money.
Two caveats. A "+" count includes whatever the seller decides to bundle, and each package card names only about nine tools before the "and more" line, so we could not see the full list without signing up. Also, an Indian card paying a dollar price may pick up a bank forex fee that the sticker does not show.
The terms and conditions page on groupseotools.net (checked October 2026) is unusually specific, which we count in its favour. It says access is delivered through the seller's cloud service and its own Chrome extension, and it asks customers not to request direct login credentials for any tool. That is a better design than handing out a shared password over WhatsApp, which is common at the cheaper end of this market.
The same terms set limits you should read before paying:
For a solo blogger in Jaipur or a student working on a dissertation, none of that is a problem. For a three-person agency in Pune, it means three memberships, and once you multiply a package by three the price advantage in the table above gets much smaller. Whatever seller you pick, assume the one-person rule applies; ours has fair-use terms too, and they are worth reading before checkout.
Their homepage, checked October 2026, promises a "3-Day Money-Back Guarantee", and the pricing page repeats it as a full refund for cancelling within three days, minus transaction fees. The refund policy page (checked October 2026) is a little tighter than the banner: it asks you to report a missing or misdescribed service within 48 hours of ordering. The same page, checked the same day, offers a partial refund for the remaining days when a tool stops working for more than 72 hours, or a replacement tool. Package buyers get less cover, because the policy says one or two tools in a package being down does not qualify for a refund.
Ours is stricter, and our own refund policy says so plainly: no refunds on access that was delivered, a full refund only when access never activated, and account credit when a tool in your plan is down for a sustained period. We think month-to-month billing with no annual prepayment is the better protection, but a buyer who wants to try a tool for a day and get the money back would get that from them and not from us.
A lot of Indian buyers who search for a group buy are really looking for Ahrefs, because the official subscription is priced in dollars and is the hardest one to justify for a single freelancer. groupseotools.net mentions Ahrefs in its homepage copy and on its About page. On 8 October 2026, though, neither the package page nor the 56-row single-tool price list had an Ahrefs entry. It may exist inside the members area. We did not create an account to check, so we are not claiming it is missing, only that we could not find a public price for it.
Here Ahrefs sits in two plans. Advanced is ₹1,499 a month for 25 tools including Ahrefs, and Ultimate is ₹2,499 for the whole 91-tool catalogue. On its own, Ahrefs is ₹1,199 a month on its tool page. If Ahrefs is the reason you are shopping, that is a firm, published number you can compare against whatever their support quotes you.
Everything above comes from one visit on 8 October 2026 to the homepage, both pricing pages, the About page, the refund policy and the terms of groupseotools.net. The site sits behind a bot check that blocks automated fetches, so we read it in an ordinary browser and copied the figures by hand. We did not buy a plan, log in, test the Chrome extension or measure uptime.
So this page cannot tell you how often their Semrush seat is available, how fast support replies, or what the daily report limits are. It can tell you what they publish, and where their own pages disagree. When we checked in October 2026, their homepage cited a 4.7 TrustScore and the pricing page a 4.8 rating on Trustpilot; we did not open the Trustpilot listing, so we cannot confirm either. Our own status page is public, and the method we use for every competitor page is written up in how we test.
| If you are… | Sensible choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A solo user who wants as many tools as possible | A GroupSEOTools package is worth a look | More tools per package on 4 of 5 tiers (their pricing page, checked Oct 2026) |
| Buying one or two SEO tools, paying in rupees | Single tools here | Lower rupee price on 13 of 14 tools compared, e.g. Semrush at ₹199 |
| Shopping mainly for Ahrefs | Our Advanced plan | ₹1,499/mo, Ahrefs included, price published |
| Someone who wants a refund window to test | GroupSEOTools | Short money-back window; we refund only undelivered access |
| A small team sharing one plan | Neither on one login | Both sellers tie a login to one person; we offer team seats on the plans that carry them, so budget per seat |
A sensible buyer could end up with a GroupSEOTools bundle for writing and design tools and a single Semrush or Ahrefs seat from us. Nothing stops you splitting your spend like that, and for some freelancers it is the cheapest combination available.
Their pricing page (checked October 2026) lists more than twenty payment methods, including UPI, Google Pay, cards, Wise and Binance, plus bKash and Nagad for Bangladeshi buyers. It also says plans do not auto-renew, which suits anyone who forgets to cancel. Before approving a UPI collect request or a card payment to any group buy seller, ours included, check three things:
The fuller checklist, covering status pages, written refund terms and traceable payments, is in Is group buy safe?. Run any seller through it, including us.
The seller we compared is groupseotools.net. Its footer describes a digital marketing agency in Bangladesh, its About page says it operates in the UK and Bangladesh, and it prints prices in dollars, taka, rupees and Pakistani rupees. When we loaded groupseotools.org on 8 October 2026 it showed only an under-construction notice, so nothing on this page refers to that domain.
It depends on how you buy. On single tools, groupseotools.net's rupee price list (checked October 2026) came out higher than ours on 13 of the 14 tools we compared, Semrush included. Bundles are a different story: 4 of its 5 packages claim more tools than our nearest plan, and its larger packages cost less than our larger plans. Bundle buyers should look at it seriously.
Its homepage and About page name Ahrefs several times. Neither its package page nor its single-tool price list had an Ahrefs row when we checked on 8 October 2026, and we did not log in to see whether it appears inside the members area. If Ahrefs is the reason you are buying, ask their support for the exact plan and price in writing before paying.
Its terms (checked October 2026) say access runs through its own cloud service and a Chrome extension it built, and that customers should not ask for direct login credentials. The same terms allow two devices or IPs per membership, only one active login at a time, and no team use. That rules it out for a small agency that wants three people on one plan.
On paper, yes. groupseotools.net advertises a 3-day money-back guarantee, and the policy text itself asks you to cancel within 48 hours of ordering for a full refund. It also offers partial refunds when a tool stays down for more than 72 hours. We do not refund delivered access at all, only payments where access never started. If a short trial-and-refund window matters most to you, that is a real point in their favour.
Their pricing page lists UPI, Google Pay, cards, Stripe, Wise and Binance among its 20+ payment methods (checked October 2026). We did not go through checkout, so we cannot tell you what currency an Indian card is actually charged in for a dollar-priced package, or which company name appears on the UPI request. Check both before you approve the payment.
