SERPWatcher is the rank tracker inside Mangools, so if you buy Mangools through us you already have it: the ₹199/month Mangools access includes all five Mangools tools. The usual reason to look past it is speed. Mangools' own SERPWatcher page, checked October 2026, says rankings update weekly and daily only on the Agency plan. If you want a fresh number every morning, three trackers in our catalogue say daily on their own pages: Semrush Position Tracking at ₹199/month, SE Ranking at ₹299/month and Serpstat at ₹299/month. Disclosure: we sell access to SERPWatcher and to every alternative named here, so we are paid whichever you pick, and this page is about matching the tracker to the job.
SERPWatcher is one of the five tools Mangools sells under one login, next to KWFinder for keyword research, SERPChecker for reading a results page, LinkMiner for backlinks and SiteProfiler for a quick domain overview. You give it a domain, a list of keywords and a location, and it charts where each keyword sits over time.
Mangools' SERPWatcher page, checked October 2026, lists more than 65,000 tracking locations (states, counties, cities and DMA regions), desktop and mobile results, email alerts for important rank changes, and interactive reports you can share with a client as a link. It also shows a Performance Index, which estimates the organic traffic your current positions are worth from each keyword's search volume. A tooltip on the Mangools pricing page, read the same day, explains that the tracked-keyword limit is one total for the whole account and that the number of domains you can track is unlimited.
It deserves credit for being easy to read. The charts make sense on a phone, a client can open the shared link without an account, and setting up a project takes a couple of minutes. A blogger in Jaipur watching forty keywords on one site, or an affiliate marketer checking whether last month's rewrite moved anything, has everything they need here. Most people who go looking for something better than SERPWatcher like the tool well enough and have outgrown one of its limits.
The limit people notice first is how often the numbers move. Mangools' SERPWatcher page and the SERPWatcher entry in its site menu, both checked October 2026, say rank tracking runs with weekly updates, and daily only on the Agency plan. Here is what its pricing page listed, read in US dollars, the currency that page is set to:
| Mangools plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing, per year | SERPWatcher tracked keywords | Rank refresh |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49/mo | $358.80 | 200 | Weekly |
| Premium | $69/mo | $538.80 | 700 | Weekly |
| Agency | $129/mo | $1,078.80 | 1,500 | Daily |
Source: mangools.com/plans-and-pricing and mangools.com/serpwatcher, prices and limits checked October 2026. Paying Mangools directly from India means a recurring foreign-currency charge. Its FAQ, also checked October 2026, lists Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards, bank transfer, crypto, and PayPal through the Paddle payment provider, with a full refund on request within 48 hours of paying.
For plenty of sites, weekly is enough. If you report to a client once a month, four data points a month tell the same story as thirty. Weekly starts to hurt in three situations: a site migration where you need to see within a day whether redirects held, a Google core update when a client calls asking what happened yesterday, and a launch where the first week of movement decides the next round of work. For those, a daily tracker is worth the switch, and the Agency plan is the only Mangools tier that gives you one.
A lot of people asking for a SERPWatcher alternative already pay for Mangools somewhere, so to be plain: our Mangools access is the whole suite, SERPWatcher included. It costs ₹199 a month on its own, and it is also part of Advanced, Ultimate. If you are a member on one of those plans, open Mangools from your dashboard and SERPWatcher is in the top menu.
Three things differ from a seat of your own. The tracked-keyword cap from the table above belongs to the account and every member draws on it, so your share depends on how busy the account is. Projects you create can be seen by other members. And whether the shared account refreshes weekly or daily depends on which Mangools tier sits behind it, which is why we do not promise a daily refresh or a personal keyword quota. Before you quote a position to a client, check the last-checked date in the tool.
If weekly numbers are fine for you and your keyword list is small, there is nothing to switch. Keep using SERPWatcher and spend the rest of this page on the backup habits further down.
Better depends on which wall you hit. In our experience it is one of these:
Each of the trackers below wins on one or two of those and gives ground somewhere else. None wins on all five, so start with the wall you are hitting.
The refresh column comes from each vendor's own rank-tracking page, checked October 2026. The price and plan columns come from our live catalogue, the same figures checkout charges.
| Tool | Tracker | Refresh, per vendor page | On its own, India | Plans that include it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mangools | SERPWatcher | Weekly; daily on Agency | ₹199/mo | Advanced, Ultimate |
| Semrush | Position Tracking | Daily | ₹199/mo | Essential, Boost, Advanced, Super Ecom, Ultimate |
| SE Ranking | Rank Tracker | Daily | ₹299/mo | Ultimate |
| Serpstat | Rank Tracker | Daily reports, schedule adjustable | ₹299/mo | Advanced, Super Ecom, Ultimate |
| Ahrefs | Rank Tracker | Weekly | ₹1,199/mo | Advanced, Ultimate |
| Moz Pro | Rank tracking | Not checked for this guide | ₹199/mo | Boost, Advanced, Ultimate |
The refresh column describes each vendor's product. On a shared account, SERPWatcher included, the tracked-keyword slots, projects and refresh settings belong to the account, and the tier behind it decides how much of the vendor's headline you actually get.
Semrush's Position Tracking page, checked October 2026, says it pulls fresh data every day, lets you add up to 20 competitors, offers ZIP-code-level local data with separate mobile and desktop results, and shows whether your keywords trigger a local pack and whether you appear in it. It also sends alerts and automated email reports. For a freelancer in Pune or Kochi tracking a dental clinic's "near me" terms, the local-pack view is the feature SERPWatcher does not have.
It is also the cheapest way to get a daily tracker from us. Semrush costs ₹199 a month on its own, and the cheapest plan that includes it is Essential at ₹399 a month for 5 tools. Our Semrush account runs on the Guru tier, the one with higher limits on tracked keywords than the entry plan, so the tracker has more room than a solo Pro seat would give it.
The trade-off is effort. Setting up a Position Tracking campaign takes longer than a SERPWatcher project, the interface is denser, and shared daily report limits mean a heavy refresh can queue on a busy afternoon. Many freelancers keep both: Mangools for daily keyword research, Semrush for the tracking that goes into a report. Our Semrush group buy guide for India covers how the shared account behaves in more detail.
SE Ranking was built around the tracking project, and it shows. Its rank tracker page, checked October 2026, says it monitors daily positions across the top 100 results on Google, Bing, Yahoo and YouTube, with desktop and mobile shown separately and locations down to city, region or ZIP code. A separate AI search tracker, on the same page, follows your links and brand mentions in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Gemini. The same page describes white-label dashboards and unlimited automated reports for clients.
That makes it the strongest answer to "more search engines" and "client reporting" in our catalogue. The catch on a shared account is the branding: white-label settings belong to the workspace, so a report carries whatever branding the account has, never your own logo. Export the data and lay out the report yourself if the client expects your name on it.
SE Ranking costs ₹299 a month on its own and comes in Ultimate; the cheapest of those is Ultimate at ₹2,499. For readers in Pakistan, our SE Ranking review walks through tracking google.com.pk down to city level, and the project setup it describes is the same for any country you pick.
Serpstat's Rank Tracker page, checked October 2026, promises daily reports on keyword rankings in mobile, desktop or AI Overview results, a tracking schedule you can change, 230 Google regions down to city level, and unlimited competitor sites per project at no extra charge. It names Google only, so it is no help for a Bing or YouTube client. It suits someone who wants daily tracking and a keyword and backlink research tool in one login without Semrush's learning curve. It costs ₹299 a month on its own and comes in Advanced, Super Ecom, Ultimate.
Ahrefs is the one to be careful with if speed is your reason for leaving. Its Rank Tracker page, checked October 2026, lists weekly updates, which is the same rhythm as SERPWatcher below Agency. The same page, checked the same month (October 2026), mentions 190+ locations, comparison against 10 competitors, and tracking that ranges from 750 to more than 10,000 keywords a month depending on the plan. Ahrefs earns its price on backlinks: when a page drops, you can see which links it lost in the same session. At ₹1,199 a month on its own, well above any other tracker in the table, it is a poor buy for tracking alone and a good one if link work is part of what you sell.
Moz Pro also has rank tracking and comes in Boost, Advanced, Ultimate. We did not check its refresh schedule for this guide, so we will not quote one.
Every tracker on this page, bought through any group buy including ours, runs on an account other people use. That is fine for the numbers, which come from the same live search results a paying customer sees. It is less fine for the history, which lives inside the account. A few habits cover it:
The fuller version of these rules, including what to ask any provider before you trust it with client work, is in Is group buy safe?
Every price on this page follows the market switcher at the top, so readers in Pakistan and Bangladesh see the same comparison in their own currency. In India, checkout takes UPI and cards in rupees. All plans bill monthly, so you can try one tracker for a month and move if it does not suit you. Full plan contents are on the pricing section.
Yes. Mangools access through us covers all five Mangools tools, and SERPWatcher is one of them, next to KWFinder, SERPChecker, LinkMiner and SiteProfiler. It costs ₹199 a month on its own and also comes inside Advanced, Ultimate. The tracked-keyword cap is pooled across the members on the account, so we do not quote a personal quota.
Not on every plan. Mangools' SERPWatcher page, checked October 2026, says rankings update weekly, and daily only on the Agency plan, which its pricing page listed at $129 a month on monthly billing when we checked in October 2026. On a shared account the refresh depends on the tier behind it, so look at the last-checked date in the tool before you quote a position to anyone.
Semrush Position Tracking. Semrush's own feature page, checked October 2026, says it pulls fresh data every day. Semrush costs ₹199 a month on its own here, and the cheapest plan that includes it is Essential at ₹399 a month for 5 tools.
For refresh speed, no. Ahrefs' Rank Tracker page, checked October 2026, lists weekly updates, the same rhythm as SERPWatcher below Agency. Ahrefs is the better buy when you also need backlink data next to your rankings. At ₹1,199 a month on its own here, it costs far more than Semrush or Serpstat, so do not buy it for tracking alone.
No. Branding settings belong to the account, and everyone on a shared account sees the same workspace. Most freelancers export the ranking data and put it into their own report template, or send the tool report unbranded. If a client contract needs your logo on a scheduled PDF, that needs a seat of your own.
Usually, but do not count on it. Shared accounts are reset or re-provisioned from time to time, and a tracking project can need setting up again afterwards. Export your positions every month and keep Google Search Console connected for each site, since that data is yours and no reset touches it.
Yes. In India the checkout takes UPI and cards in rupees, so there is no recurring dollar charge on an international card. Readers in Pakistan and Bangladesh can switch the market at the top of any page to see the same tools priced in their own currency.
